Where will all these people go?

It has just been revealed that President Biden and his administration has just given the green light to fly in 100,000 Ukrainian refugees who are fleeing from Vladimir Putin’s Russian invasion.

According to The Hill, this decision came while President Biden is in Brussels meeting with European leaders to develop a Western response to Russia’s invasion.

The Ukrainian refugees will enter the United States via family-based visas, humanitarian parole, and certain U.S. refugee programs.

The U.S. is also pledging to give an additional $1 billion in aid to people affected by the war.

“This funding will provide food, shelter, clean water, medical supplies and other forms of assistance. We are also announcing an additional $320 million in democracy and human rights funding to Ukraine and its neighbors,” a statement read.

It was further noted, “The United States and the European Union are also coordinating closely to ensure that these efforts, and other forms of humanitarian admission or transfers, are complementary and provide much-needed support to Ukraine’s neighbors.”
