This is frightening.
Just when we thought things couldn’t get worse.
It has now been learned that President Biden’s administration has apprehended an astounding 243,850 unaccompanied immigrant children that were trying to enter the United States since February 2021.
Simply try to imagine the amount of children that is.
According to Newsmax, Border Patrol agents are apprehending on average about 350 unaccompanied children per day at the border. After being apprehended these children are then being sent to the Department of Health and Human Services.
Since January 2022, Border Patrol agents have already encountered 84,000 unaccompanied minors at the Mexican border as well.
After taking responsibility for these children the HHS then releases them before their court dates and many of them do not reappear for their court dates.
ACLU lawyer Lee Gelernt argued, “Expelling families under Title 42 has forced parents to make the unbearable choice of keeping their children with them in danger or sending them alone to safety in the United States. No family should have to make that decision.”
President Biden knows he can fix these issues however he and Kamala Harris still don’t do anything about it. Republicans need to hold Biden accountable after the midterms.
