China Issues Stern Warning To Trump

China is very worried about Trump’s new plans.

China has responded with a stern warning to Donald Trump over his pledge to impose new tariffs on Chinese goods, cautioning that “no one will win a trade war.” But Trump’s determination to put America’s interests first is clear: he is ready to push forward with tariffs unless China takes concrete action to curb the flow of illicit drugs into the United States.

In a recent post on Truth Social, Trump vowed to slap an additional 10% tariff on Chinese imports unless Beijing addresses the continued trafficking of fentanyl and other deadly drugs into the U.S. He emphasized that despite numerous discussions, China has failed to keep its promises to take serious action against drug dealers. “Massive amounts of drugs, particularly fentanyl, continue to pour into our country through Mexico, and China’s inaction is unacceptable,” Trump wrote. “Until they stop, we will be charging China an additional 10% tariff on all their goods entering America.”

The Chinese government quickly fired back. Liu Pengyu, a spokesperson for the Chinese Embassy, insisted that the economic relationship between the U.S. and China is mutually beneficial, claiming that both nations had resumed communication on narcotics enforcement. However, many Americans remain unconvinced that China is doing enough to stem the flow of illicit drugs that are devastating communities across the country.

Trump also doubled down on his stance against the U.S.-Mexico border crisis, announcing his plan to impose a 25% tariff on all goods from Mexico and Canada. “Thousands of people are crossing through our open border, bringing crime, drugs, and chaos,” Trump wrote. “On January 20th, I will sign an executive order imposing tariffs on Mexico and Canada until they take serious action to secure our border.”

Trump’s tough-on-trade and tough-on-crime approach is part of his broader agenda to put American workers first. During his 2024 campaign, he reaffirmed his commitment to using tariffs as a tool to protect U.S. businesses and jobs. While some economists warn that such tariffs could lead to higher prices for consumers, Trump’s supporters argue that the long-term benefits of restoring American manufacturing and reducing dependence on foreign imports outweigh the potential short-term costs.

“The reality is that free trade has often left American workers behind,” said economist Edward M. Feasel. “An optimal tariff rate could help address the dislocation caused by globalization and bring jobs back to the U.S.”

Trump’s stance reflects the growing frustration among many Americans who feel the effects of unfair trade practices and illegal immigration. His policy proposals are a direct challenge to globalist priorities and an effort to restore the power and prosperity of American workers.
