When will the witch hunt end?
Democrats want to ensure Trump doesn’t run again in 2024.
Now, it appears that the Justice Department has just opened a grand jury investigation to further investigate how fifteen boxes of classified White House documents ended up being sent to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.
According to MSNBC, after the National Archives alerted authorities about the transfer of those boxes an official investigation has now been launched.
The Justice Department has already issued one subpoena to the National Archive and have started making requests to start interviewing officials who worked in the Trump White House. The investigation is currently focused on figuring out who physically boxed up those documents and sent them to Mar-a-Lago.
Now, experts are claiming that Trump may or may not have been involved in something that could be considered a criminal act. Attorney General Merrick Garland has not signaled that he may issue criminal charges against Trump as well.
