The far-left is losing their minds.

In a statement on Monday, Derrick Johnson, the President of the NAACP, expressed his belief that in the upcoming 2024 presidential election, Democrats should make efforts to remove Florida Governor Ron DeSantis from his position definitively. Johnson emphasized the need to ensure that DeSantis does not continue in office any longer.

During an interview with CNN, Derrick Johnson shared that the NAACP is actively engaged in efforts to “transform the political environment” in response to their recently announced travel advisory for the state of Florida. The advisory was issued as a response to the policies implemented by Governor Ron DeSantis, who is considered a potential candidate for the 2024 presidential election.

In transcript provided by Fox, Johnson explained, “We didn’t end here overnight – it was because of the election. So we have to prepare for the next election, so we can get rid of him once and for all.

“The othering that we have seen, first by Trump, now by him, is not only un-American, it’s dangerous, and we have to right-size this landscape,” he went on to say.

According to the NAACP’s official advisory, it alleges that Governor Ron DeSantis has been involved in what they describe as a comprehensive assault on Black Americans and other minority communities.

In their statement, the NAACP expressed their view that Florida exhibits an environment that is openly antagonistic towards African Americans, people of color, and LGBTQ+ individuals. The group asserted that the state of Florida devalues and marginalizes the contributions made by these communities, as well as downplays the challenges they face. Therefore, they advised individuals to be aware of these circumstances before making travel arrangements to Florida.

The press release highlighted that the travel advisory issued by the NAACP was a direct response to Governor Ron DeSantis’ vigorous endeavors to eliminate Black history from educational curricula and impose limitations on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in Florida schools. This action was taken by the NAACP to draw attention to and raise concerns about these specific policies and their potential impact.
