Democrats need to get their act together.

Poll Shock: Confidence in Democrat Leadership Crashes to Record Low

Americans are losing trust in Democratic congressional leadership — and fast.

A new Gallup poll, conducted between April 1–14, reveals that only 25% of Americans have confidence in Democratic leaders in Congress. That’s not just bad — it’s a record low, even worse than the party’s 34% rating in 2023.

📉 It’s the lowest level of confidence Gallup has ever recorded for Democrats in Washington.

What’s behind the collapse? Shockingly, it’s not just Republicans who are disillusioned — Democrats themselves are jumping ship.

🚨 Democrats Turn on Their Own Leadership

According to Gallup, Democratic voters’ confidence in their party’s leaders has fallen 41 points in just one year — the largest collapse on record. The previous low from within the party was 60% in 2005. Now? Even lower.

Meanwhile, Republicans are holding strong. Confidence in GOP congressional leadership stands at 39%, well above the party’s all-time low of 24% in 2014 — and close to their historical average of 43%.

🔥 Democrat Leaders Under Fire

Since President Trump returned to the White House, Democrats in Congress have struggled to counter his bold second-term agenda.

They’ve already lost control of the Senate, and Republicans picked up more seats in the House during the November elections — a clear rejection of Democrat policies by the American people.

To make matters worse, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) recently sided with Republicans to pass a government funding bill — sparking outrage on the Left.

🔊 Left-wing activists launched protests across the country, demanding Schumer resign.

Even longtime Democrat allies like Nancy Pelosi turned on him, accusing Schumer of giving Republicans his vote “for nothing.

📊 Americans Have Had Enough

Gallup reports that neither party has hit a 50% confidence rating in over a decade, but the current collapse in support for Democrats is historic. The last time Democrats held majority support was in 2009. For Republicans, it was 2003.

🇺🇸 With confidence in Democrats in freefall, many voters are embracing conservative leadership and the return of America First policies.

✅ Bottom Line

  • Democratic leadership hits all-time low confidence rating
  • Democrat voters themselves are losing faith
  • Republicans gaining ground in House and Senate
  • Schumer and Pelosi facing internal backlash
  • Trump’s agenda moves forward — despite opposition
