GOP Doubles Down On Election Security

GOP is not playing games this time around.

COLUMBUS, OHIO — In a bold move to defend election integrity, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose has referred dozens of suspected illegal voters for criminal investigation. The findings include 30 noncitizens registered to vote in Ohio and 11 individuals suspected of casting ballots in more than one state.

This sweeping investigation, conducted by Ohio’s Election Integrity Unit, comes amid growing national concern over voter fraud, noncitizen registration, and the erosion of public trust in elections.

“Election fraud is not just a theory—it’s happening. And in Ohio, we’re not going to sit back and let it go unpunished,” LaRose stated in a press release.

Double Voting and Noncitizen Registrations Across 9 Jurisdictions

The probe identified illegal voter activity spanning across Virginia, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, D.C., Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, and South Carolina. These individuals are accused of voting in multiple states, a felony offense in many jurisdictions.

Each case has been referred to the appropriate state attorneys general and Ohio’s Attorney General Dave Yost for potential prosecution.

“Even one illegal vote can cancel out the voice of a lawful citizen,” LaRose warned. “Whether it’s a local school levy or a statewide election, the outcome matters.”

He cited a striking example: a single vote in Licking County, Ohio, determined the result of a local tax levy.

President Trump’s DOJ Cracks Down on North Carolina Elections

Just days before Ohio’s announcement, President Donald Trump’s Justice Department filed a lawsuit against North Carolina and its State Board of Elections for failing to maintain accurate voter rolls in accordance with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA).

The DOJ alleges that North Carolina election officials used registration forms that failed to require a valid driver’s license or Social Security number, opening the door for widespread ineligible voter registrations.

Despite admitting the problem in late 2023, the Democrat-led board refused to notify voters who may have registered improperly since 2004—leaving potentially thousands of illegitimate registrations in place ahead of the 2024 election.

🔒 Why Secure Elections Matter More Than Ever

For conservative Americans over 50, this isn’t just about policy—it’s about protecting our way of life. Every illegal vote undermines the values we’ve spent a lifetime defending.

  • Election fraud is real.
  • Noncitizens are getting on voter rolls.
  • Liberal election boards are failing to fix the problem.

LaRose’s aggressive action in Ohio and Trump’s federal lawsuit in North Carolina are the kinds of bold steps needed to restore faith in the democratic process.

🇺🇸 One legal vote. One legal voter. That’s how we keep America free.
