GOP Prepares For War

The future is looking uncertain but the GOP is standing behind Trump.

In a dramatic turn in the Middle East, Republican lawmakers are voicing full-throated support for Israel after it launched a sweeping military operation against Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.

The strikes come amid growing fears of a larger regional war — and President Trump isn’t mincing words.

“I told Iran it would be far worse than anything they’ve imagined,” Trump warned in a blistering Truth Social post Friday morning.

Republicans Call for Prayer and Strength as Israel Strikes Iran

As news broke that Israeli warplanes had targeted Iran’s nuclear facilities — including the notorious Natanz enrichment site — GOP leaders took to social media to call for strength, faith, and solidarity with America’s closest ally in the region.

“Game on. Pray for Israel,” posted Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), a leading voice on foreign policy.

The coordinated assault reportedly took out top Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) leaders, including Hossein Salami, a key figure in Tehran’s nuclear escalation.

Speaker Mike Johnson Backs Trump: ‘Israel Had Every Right’

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) praised the Trump administration for its unwavering efforts to stop Iran from ever acquiring a nuclear weapon.

“Israel had every right to act in self-defense,” Johnson posted. “If Iran retaliates by attacking American interests, it will face grave consequences.”

Johnson also pointed out Iran’s provocation just one day prior — announcing plans to build another nuclear enrichment site, ignoring international pressure.

Israel’s Operation ‘Rising Lion’ Hits the Heart of Iran’s Nuclear Ambitions

In a nationally broadcast address, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that the multi-day campaign — dubbed Rising Lion — had struck deep into Iran’s most guarded nuclear and missile programs.

“We hit the core of Iran’s nuclear weaponization efforts, the scientists behind the bomb, and their ballistic missile capabilities,” Netanyahu declared.

At least five rounds of Israeli airstrikes were reported, with dozens of targets destroyed. The operation was described as a preemptive defense to neutralize Iran’s mounting threat.

Trump Sends Clear Message: Peace Through Strength

President Trump issued a direct warning to Tehran, saying the United States would not tolerate further escalation — and that Iran would regret rejecting diplomacy.

“The U.S. produces the best and most lethal military equipment anywhere in the world. Israel has plenty — and more is on the way,” Trump wrote.

“Now they have, perhaps, a second chance.”

These bold words sent a powerful message, especially as Iran announced it would withdraw from the upcoming nuclear talks previously scheduled in Oman.

Democrats Sound Alarm, But GOP Stays Firm

While Republicans called for continued support for Israel and strong U.S. leadership, Democrats like Sen. Jack Reed (D-R.I.) warned of “reckless escalation.”

Reed criticized Israel’s actions and urged President Trump to pursue diplomatic “de-escalation” to avoid further conflict in the region.

But for conservatives, Reed’s comments highlight a familiar pattern of appeasement, even in the face of rising threats to global stability.

Iran Retaliates with Drone Swarm – Intercepted by Israeli Defense Systems

Following the strikes, Iran launched over 100 drones aimed at Israel. According to Israeli officials, most were successfully intercepted — thanks to U.S.-backed missile defense systems like Iron Dome.

The threat remains real, but so does the resolve from Washington and Jerusalem.

America Stands with Israel — and the World is Watching

As tensions mount in the Middle East, Republicans are urging the nation to stand firm, pray for peace through strength, and support a president who refuses to let Iran become a nuclear power.

“Iran would be foolish to attack the United States,” said Sen. James Risch (R-Idaho).

“We stand with Israel. We stand for freedom. And we will not back down.”
