Has Hillary been served justice?
In a move that needed to happen much sooner, the Federal Election Commission (FEC) has finally decided to slap Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign and the DNC with a fine for blatantly lying about funding the fake Russia dossier.
Hillary and the Democrats were trying to smear Trump to ruin his election chances.
According to Reuters, the FEC found that Clinton and the DNC violated strict rules when describing how payments were funneled to the research firm Fusion GPS via their law firm.
A total of $1,024,407.97 was paid by DNC and the Clinton campaign treasurers to their law firm Perkins Coie to purchase dirt on Trump from Fusion GPS.
The DNC and Clinton lied about the reason for payment saying it was for legal services when in reality it was to acquire dirt on Trump.
The DNC paid a total of $849,407.97 and Clinton’s campaign paid $175,000.
After learning about the fine both the Clinton campaign and the DNC decided not to fight back and will simply pay the fine. That is likely because they know they are guilty.
After the issuing the fine, the FEC said, “Solely for the purpose of settling this matter expeditiously and to avoid further legal costs, respondent[s] does not concede, but will not further contest the commission’s finding of probable cause to proceed.”
