Contoversy is swirling.
As more information comes to light, it appears that not only did Fox’s Sean Hannity reach out to former President Donald Trump’s White House chief of staff Mark Meadows but so did Fox’s Laura Ingraham when the Jan. 6th Capitol riot took place.
Conservatives are concerned at the moment about the context of these calls/texts and believe that them reaching out to Meadows has given Democrats, specifically the Jan. 6 Committee, all the fire power they need to abuse the legal system and destroy Trump’s 2024 chances.
According to CNN, Ingraham texted Meadows during the riot and stated, “Mark, the president needs to tell people in the Capitol to go home. This is hurting all of us. He is destroying his legacy.“
The left wing media has taken this story and ran with it somehow tying former President Donald Trump’s name in with Fox News media. They along with the January 6th Committee believe this is enough evidence to indict the former president. It is not.
Meadows recently came informed that January 6th Committee that he will no longer appear before them because he believes that they do not respect the boundaries concerning executive privilege.
