Jill Biden Praises Trump?

Wonder what Democrats think about this.

In a rare moment of agreement across party lines, one of Jill Biden’s top former aides is praising President Donald Trump’s latest White House renovation — calling it “sad but necessary.”

Michael LaRosa, who served as press secretary to First Lady Jill Biden, admitted on Sunrise on The Hill Friday that while watching the East Wing come down was emotional, the project was ultimately the right move.

“It’s sad. I had a wonderful office there, and it’s heartbreaking,” LaRosa said. “But every president and first family should play a role in evolving and modernizing the White House. I don’t think there’s any question that a ballroom is probably needed.”

Even Biden’s Former Team Agrees With Trump

LaRosa’s surprising defense comes as Democrats and left-wing activists blast Trump for demolishing part of the East Wing to make room for a new, privately funded $300 million ballroom.

He compared Trump’s renovation to major upgrades made by past presidents, including Harry Truman’s complete structural overhaul and Franklin D. Roosevelt’s expansion of the West Wing.

“Critics forget that the White House has evolved with every generation,” LaRosa noted. “It’s part of its living history.”

White House Hits Back at ‘Fake Outrage’

In a statement this week, the Trump White House described the new ballroom as “a bold, necessary addition that honors the legacy of past renovations.” Officials blasted the “unhinged Left and their Fake News allies” for creating another wave of “manufactured outrage” over something that’s been standard practice for generations.

According to reports, Trump initially budgeted the ballroom at $200 million — but the project expanded to $300 million to include security upgrades and event accommodations. The East Wing demolition began Monday and wrapped up Thursday.

Modernizing History — and Ruffling Feathers

While critics claim the demolition “erases history,” supporters say Trump’s ballroom will serve as a long-term investment in the White House’s ability to host state events and ceremonies — an improvement that aligns with America’s image of strength and prestige.

And when even Jill Biden’s former aide admits Trump’s project “was probably needed,” it’s clear that not every Democrat is buying the media’s narrative.
