Why isn’t more of the mainstream media reporting on this story?
America is witnessing a record-breaking drop in murder rates, thanks to the Trump administration’s renewed focus on public safety, border security, and law enforcement support. For the third straight year, violent crime is falling — and 2025 could set a new record for the lowest homicide rate ever recorded.
✅ Lower crime. Safer communities. Proven leadership.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt credited the sharp decline to President Trump’s strong stance on crime, saying, “The President promised safer streets — and he’s delivering. Backing the blue, restoring order, and ensuring criminals face real consequences are making all the difference.”
FBI Crime Stats Show Real Progress
The numbers don’t lie:
- In 2023, the U.S. murder rate dropped to 5.75 per 100,000, down sharply from the 2020 spike of 6.83.
- In 2024, that number fell again to 4.97 per 100,000, lower than in 2018 or 2019.
- So far in 2025, the nation has seen a 21.6% drop in homicides compared to the same time last year.
According to independent crime analyst Jeff Asher, “If this trend continues, 2025 could go down as the safest year on record in terms of per-capita murders.”
Trump’s Crime Crackdown Is Working
President Trump’s focus on illegal immigration enforcement, violent offender accountability, and restoring respect for law enforcement is paying off.
In April, the White House displayed mugshots of 100 deported illegal immigrants accused of serious crimes, showcasing the administration’s zero-tolerance approach to lawlessness.
🔒 Protecting our borders. Defending our families.
FBI spokesman Ben Williamson praised the administration’s leadership:
“Federal agents now have the tools, funding, and political backing to crush violent crime. Good policy creates good outcomes — and this administration is proving it.”
Blue Cities See Big Gains Under Red Policies
Even Democrat-run cities are reaping the rewards of Trump’s tough-on-crime approach:
- New York City: Murders down 28.2% year-to-date, with a staggering 85.7% drop since 1993.
- Philadelphia: Down 14.7% in 2025 — a major shift for one of America’s most violent cities.
- Chicago: Reporting a 23% decrease in homicides this year.
- Baltimore: Down 24%.
- New Orleans: A 25% drop in killings.
📉 Even liberal cities can’t deny the results: law and order is saving lives.
Safer Streets, Stronger America
As crime continues to fall, seniors and working families are seeing the benefits of conservative public safety policies. Neighborhoods are becoming safer, police are being respected, and justice is being served.
For Americans who lived through the violent crime waves of the 1970s through the early 1990s, the current trend is nothing short of a Trump-led transformation.
