The claws came out!
Co-host of ABC’s “The View,” Meghan McCain, dropped the hammer on President Donald Trump’s niece Mary Trump for her tell all book “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man,” for a long list of outrageous accusations which was backed by zero evidence which paints President Trump in a terrible light.
According to the Washington Examiner, McCain blasted Trump’s niece and said, “Look. I think I made it clear to your publishers, I don’t like books like this. I don’t like family tell-all books, especially when it comes to families with fame and power because I — they’re told from the one side, and often the subjects are villainized to the point that I don’t actually end up believing the stuff written.”
“There have been books about my family which are complete and total garbage told from a skewed perspective and at the end of the day you get a really good paycheck out of it, but I don’t think it’s that legitimate,” McCain added.
Mary Trump then responded, “If I had wanted some measure of revenge, if I had wanted to cash in as you say, I would have done this 10 years ago when Donald was still a very public figure, and it wouldn’t have — I would not have been taking the risk that I’m taking.”
“I mean, we’ve all seen how whistleblowers fare in this administration. So, I would much have preferred not to do this, but I felt it was extremely important that the American people have all of the information they need in order to make an informed decision,” she said.
McCain also questioned Mary Trump’s relationship with the rest of the Trump family including Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr.
