Michelle Obama Slanders Trump

Why won’t she just leave Trump alone?

Former first lady, Michelle Obama, recently complained in an interview that she was not invited to the White House for the hanging of her official portrait during Trump administration. This tradition of inviting the former president and first lady to the White House for the unveiling of their portraits was not upheld during the Trump administration, which Mrs. Obama alluded to in her interview.

President Joe Biden hosted the Obamas in 2022 for the portrait unveiling, which was the first time Michelle Obama had visited the White House in five years. In her 2022 memoir, “The Light We Carry,” she also expressed her feelings of hurt and shock at the outcome of the 2016 election, as well as her disappointment in the lack of diversity at Trump’s inauguration.

Mrs. Obama’s comments serve as a reminder of the importance of upholding traditions and treating former presidents and first ladies with respect and courtesy. She claims that her experiences also highlight the political divisiveness and lack of unity that has become increasingly prevalent in recent years.
