Newsom Banned From California?

The tides are turning on insane and out of control Democrat leaders like Newsom.

Mel Gibson recently made a strong statement against California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, blaming them for their mishandling of the Palisades and Eaton fires that ravaged Southern California. The fires destroyed communities, with thousands of homes lost and many lives affected, including Gibson’s own. The actor spoke at a news conference organized by Saving California in Altadena, where he expressed his outrage over the leadership’s failure to act responsibly.

“There is no excuse for this kind of gross mismanagement. The governor and the mayor should be held accountable for their negligence in failing to address the fire risk before it became a disaster,” Gibson declared, emphasizing the need for leadership that prioritizes the safety of citizens over bureaucracy. He sharply criticized the local officials for their inability to prevent such devastation, calling it a result of “incompetence, indifference, complacency, carelessness, and negligence.”

The fires, which began in early January, had catastrophic impacts. The Palisades Fire destroyed nearly 24,000 acres and left more than 6,800 businesses and homes in ruins. The Eaton Fire, similarly, scorched over 14,000 acres, demolishing thousands more properties. In total, the fires claimed 29 lives and caused significant devastation to both residential areas and businesses.

Despite the increasing exodus of celebrities from California due to high taxes, crime, and stifling regulations, Gibson has chosen to stay. He explained his decision on Fox News, stating that while many have left, abandoning California entirely would lead to even greater issues. He agrees with fellow Hollywood figure Sean Hannity’s concerns about the state’s policies, but instead of leaving, Gibson intends to work on solutions alongside President Trump, who appointed him as a special Hollywood envoy.

As part of his new role, Gibson is committed to addressing California’s tax incentives, arguing that Newsom’s efforts have been insufficient. “The tax incentives aren’t enough to make a real difference. The state is still facing major obstacles that need to be addressed for businesses and families to thrive here,” he said. Gibson remains optimistic that under Trump’s leadership, positive changes can be made in Hollywood and beyond.
