NFL Superstar Shuts Up Trump Haters

This was amazing!

Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley is pushing back against liberal outrage after spending time with President Donald Trump over the weekend.

The NFL running back was photographed with President Trump in New Jersey on Sunday, following a friendly golf outing that quickly drew criticism from the left. Barkley, however, wasted no time setting the record straight.

Barkley: Respect for the Presidency, Not Politics

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Barkley responded to the backlash with calm and class.

“LOL, it’s funny how upset some people are just because I played golf and traveled to the White House with the PRESIDENT,” Barkley wrote. “Maybe I simply have respect for the office — it’s really not that complicated.”

Barkley also noted that he recently played golf with former President Obama, emphasizing that his respect is for the institution of the presidency, not partisan politics.

“I played a round with Obama not too long ago, and I’m excited to finish one with Trump! Now, everyone can stop flooding my mentions with politics — hope you all have a great day,” Barkley said.

Celebrating a Super Bowl Victory at the White House

The Philadelphia Eagles, who captured the Super Bowl title earlier this year, are scheduled to visit the White House on Monday — a time-honored tradition President Trump continues to uphold.

On Sunday, Barkley was seen exiting a helicopter alongside President Trump, smiling and talking with the Commander-in-Chief. At one point, the president gave Barkley a friendly pat on the back and praised him publicly.

“He’s a nice guy,” Trump told reporters.

The president even joked about Barkley’s athleticism, saying:

“I wanted to race him, but I decided not to do it.”

Photos show Barkley enjoying his visit, taking pictures with the president and displaying true sportsmanship and patriotism.

President Trump Praises Barkley and Hurts

While President Trump had predicted the Kansas City Chiefs would win the Super Bowl, he expressed admiration for both teams.

He described Saquon Barkley as “one of the best running backs” and praised Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts as “a great quarterback.”

President Trump’s sportsmanship and Barkley’s respect for the Oval Office offer a powerful reminder: some values — like honoring the presidency — still matter to millions of Americans.

In a time of division, it’s refreshing to see a young NFL star who puts respect above politics.

Do you believe more athletes should follow Barkley’s example?
