The Democrats are a total joke.
News broke earlier today of former President Barack Obama finally coming out and endorsing his former Vice President Joe Biden after he was the only candidate left standing. Now, President Trump’s team has responded and it’s pretty humiliating for Obama.
According to the Washington Examiner, President Trump’s reelection campaign brushed off Obama’s worthless endorsement saying Obama “has no other choice” and that he was right not endorsing him earlier on.
“Barack Obama spent much of the last five years urging Joe Biden not to run for president out of fear that he would embarrass himself,” Trump’s campaign manager Brad Parscale said. “Now that Biden is the only candidate left in the Democrat field, Obama has no other choice but to support him. Even Bernie Sanders beat him to it. Obama was right in the first place: Biden is a bad candidate who will embarrass himself and his party. President Trump will destroy him.”
Hilariously, in the video released today, Obama said, “Choosing Joe to be my vice president was one of the best decisions I ever made, and he became a close friend. And I believe Joe has all the qualities we need in a president right now.”
What BS!
Just a week ago, Trump wondered why Obama was giving Biden the cold shoulder. “I don’t know why President Obama hasn’t supported Joe Biden a long time ago,” Trump stated. “There’s something he feels is wrong.”
“He knows something that you don’t know, that I think I know. But you don’t know. I’m sure he’s got to come out at some point because he certainly doesn’t want to see me for four more years,” Trump added.
