Ocasio-Cortez Funding Trump’s Biggest Hater

Who does AOC think she is?

Radical New York congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) is now openly raising money to defend one of President Trump’s fiercest enemies — embattled New York Attorney General Letitia James — after James was federally indicted on serious bank fraud and mortgage charges.

In a mass email blast Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez begged her supporters to “rush a donation” to help James “fight back” against what she called “Trump’s political attacks.” The far-left Democrat claimed the former president was “manipulating the Department of Justice” to punish James for “holding him accountable.”

“Letitia isn’t backing down, and we need to support her in this critical moment,” AOC’s email read. “Her campaign set a goal of 20,000 contributions before midnight to fight back.”

The fundraising message linked to an ActBlue donation page titled “Letitia James Legal Fund,” though it remains unclear where the money will actually go — to her re-election campaign or to her personal legal defense.

Ocasio-Cortez also posted on Instagram, calling the charges “completely baseless” and accusing Trump of “abusing his power.” In the same breath, she labeled James “a hero” and said, “New Yorkers love this woman. I love this woman.”

Letitia James Faces Federal Charges

Letitia James was indicted Thursday in Virginia on multiple federal charges, including bank fraud and lying to financial institutions. She’s expected to appear in court October 24, and she continues to insist she’s innocent — claiming Trump and his allies are targeting her for “political revenge.”

The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) recently launched a legal defense fund for James, who is simultaneously running for re-election next year. Legal experts note there’s no ban on New York politicians transferring campaign money to legal defense funds — but the optics are sparking outrage among conservatives who see this as blatant political protection.

AOC’s Alliance With Letitia James Raises Eyebrows

The alliance between Ocasio-Cortez and Letitia James is hardly new. Both have built careers attacking President Trump. James’ office sued Trump and the Trump Organization, securing a headline-grabbing judgment that was later partly overturned on appeal.

Now, as federal prosecutors move against her, the far-left machine is circling the wagons — with Ocasio-Cortez leading the charge. Conservatives see this as another example of Democrats shielding their own while weaponizing the justice system against political opponents.

“This is a dangerous escalation of Trump going after those who hold him accountable,” AOC claimed — ignoring years of partisan attacks on Trump that helped elevate her own political brand.

Political Lawfare or Justice?

Critics say AOC’s fundraising stunt exposes the left’s double standard on “accountability.” When Trump faces endless investigations, Democrats call it “justice.” When one of their own faces charges, it suddenly becomes “political persecution.”

Even some moderate voices are questioning the ethics of using campaign dollars to pay legal bills, calling it another symptom of the corruption and arrogance of the ruling elite in blue states like New York.

Meanwhile, supporters of President Trump point out that James’ long-standing personal vendetta against Trump goes back to before she took office — when she infamously vowed to “sue him” and “make him know my name.”

Bottom Line

As Letitia James fights for her political life and AOC rallies the left-wing base to save her, conservatives see this as more proof that the system is rigged to protect Democrats and punish Trump supporters.

What’s clear is this: Ocasio-Cortez isn’t helping the people of New York — she’s protecting her own political tribe, no matter how deep the corruption runs.
