In a bold—and some say delusional—statement, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told a crowd of young liberal activists that Democrats are “guaranteed” to take back control of the House in 2026 and end the Trump-led Republican resurgence for good.
Speaking at the far-left Voters of Tomorrow summit, Pelosi declared, “We have no doubt that we will win the election with the House of Representatives,” doubling down as the crowd of Gen Z attendees erupted in applause. “No doubt,” she repeated.
Pelosi, 84, went on to promise that far-left New York Congressman Hakeem Jeffries would become Speaker of the House if Democrats regain the majority—a move that would place the most radical elements of the Democrat Party in full control of Congress.
Pelosi’s Plan: Crush Trump, Flood Elections With Cash
Pelosi credited previous Democrat midterm wins in 2006 and 2018 to “early preparation,” urging liberal donors and organizers to start now. “We have our messaging, we have our mobilization… we need the money to do it,” she said, stressing the need to flood the elections with progressive cash.
But perhaps most disturbing for conservatives was Pelosi’s open admission that their 2026 strategy includes targeting former President Trump directly. “By October—certainly by November—we’ll have taken what’s-his-name’s numbers down,” she said smugly, without even naming Trump.
Yet the facts don’t align with Pelosi’s wishful thinking.
Trump Still Commands Massive Support
Despite constant media attacks, lawfare, and left-wing pressure campaigns, a Fox News poll shows Trump holding steady at 46% approval—higher than his standing in July 2016 when he shocked the world and won the White House. Biden, by contrast, continues to struggle with low enthusiasm and weak polling numbers among key voter blocs.
Pelosi’s remarks come as the Biden White House faces mounting criticism over the economy, the border crisis, and global instability. Meanwhile, Trump continues to dominate primary polling and pack arenas with tens of thousands of energized voters.
Democrats Go All-In On Radical Youth Agenda
The Voters of Tomorrow summit featured a who’s-who of progressive firebrands, including Vice President Kamala Harris, Rep. Ro Khanna, Rep. Jamie Raskin, and left-wing activist David Hogg. Many appeared virtually to avoid direct questions or scrutiny.
For older, patriotic Americans who care about secure borders, free speech, and a strong economy, Pelosi’s speech was a chilling reminder of what’s at stake in 2026. Democrats aren’t hiding their agenda—they’re bragging about it.
