This was insane!
Tempers exploded at the Texas State Capitol on Thursday night when a Democrat candidate for Congress launched into a shocking anti-Trump rant — and was ultimately dragged out by authorities in front of a stunned audience.
Isaiah Martin, who is running in Houston’s TX-18 congressional district, was forcibly removed and arrested after repeatedly defying Republican committee members and verbally attacking President Donald Trump during a redistricting hearing.
The dramatic confrontation — caught on camera — has gone viral, showing Martin collapsing as police tried to escort him out, all while shouting insults about Trump and GOP lawmakers. His disruptive antics stunned those in attendance and lit up social media.
“History will NOT remember you for what you have DONE! It is a shame!” Martin screamed as officers pulled him from the hearing room. The crowd gasped, and some in the audience even shouted at police to let him go.
Martin was slapped with multiple charges: resisting arrest, trespassing, and disrupting a public meeting. He was later released from Travis County Jail, and charges were reportedly dropped — a move many critics say reflects a two-tiered justice system.
Still, Martin doubled down in a defiant social media post, vowing to keep attacking Republicans and blaming Trump for everything from redistricting to property taxes.

Democrat Unleashes Anti-Trump Tirade
Martin began his prepared remarks by calling the hearing illegitimate and accusing Texas Republicans of gerrymandering congressional districts to gain favor with former President Trump.
“This entire process is rigged,” Martin claimed. “Trump told you he needs five more seats — and that’s what this is really about.”
He then warned of political retaliation, saying Democrat-controlled states like New York and New Jersey would retaliate by redrawing maps to eliminate Republican seats.
“Governor Hochul is gerrymandering Republicans out. The same thing’s happening in New Jersey,” Martin claimed.
The Democrat candidate also attacked Texas leadership over rising property taxes and affordability — despite the fact that Texas has no state income tax and continues to see massive population growth due to its conservative policies.
“Texas is unaffordable… and Republicans have been in power for 30 years,” Martin complained.
Then came the most explosive moment — when Martin unleashed an unhinged attack on President Trump himself.
“You can thank your failed, senile, Epstein-partying president for what’s coming,” Martin yelled before being dragged away. “America will rise up against you!”
Committee Restores Order After Arrest
Redistricting Chairman Rep. Cody Vasut attempted multiple times to restore order, but Martin refused to yield. The audience became restless, some shouting at police, others visibly disturbed by Martin’s behavior.
The committee resumed shortly afterward without addressing the incident. No response was given from either Governor Greg Abbott’s office or Martin’s campaign when asked for comment.
Governor Abbott has described the redistricting process as necessary for legal compliance, especially after court rulings found that some coalition districts — including Martin’s — may violate the Constitution.
According to the Department of Justice, TX-18 is among several congressional districts under scrutiny for racial gerrymandering, making the stakes of this hearing especially high.
President Trump, meanwhile, has called on state legislators to secure five additional GOP House seats through fair and lawful redistricting — a move supported by many Texas Republicans.
More Hearings Coming As Trump Stays Focused
The redistricting battle is far from over. Hearings are scheduled to continue Saturday in Houston and Monday in Arlington.
President Trump remains focused on election integrity and restoring accountability in Washington — and Democrat meltdowns like Martin’s only highlight how effective Trump’s agenda continues to be.
