Republican Shocks MAGA World

There are so many traitors within the GOP it’s mind blowing.

Former Representative Denver Riggleman (R-Va.) has publicly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president, citing significant concerns about the potential return of former President Donald Trump to the White House. Riggleman, who previously supported Trump, expressed grave reservations about another Trump administration, suggesting it would threaten both domestic safety and international stability.

In a recent post on the social media platform X, Riggleman confirmed his involvement with the “Republicans for Harris” initiative, which is part of Harris’s new campaign effort. He pointed to the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot as a critical factor in his decision. Riggleman, who had received Trump’s endorsement in previous elections, distanced himself from Trump after witnessing the events of that day.

“The evidence from January 6 shows that Trump and his associates pose a serious risk,” Riggleman stated. “The same elements that drove the insurrection are now backing Project 2025. Electing Trump for a second term would put American lives at risk and lead to widespread global turmoil.” Riggleman emphasized the importance of maintaining rationality in politics and rejecting extremist factions.

The Harris campaign has introduced the “Republicans for Harris” initiative with endorsements from over 25 influential Republicans. This list includes former Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, former Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, and other GOP leaders. Additionally, Trump-era figures such as Stephanie Grisham, former White House press secretary, and Olivia Troye, former national security adviser to Vice President Mike Pence, have also endorsed Harris. Other notable endorsers include former Representatives Christopher Shays, Joe Walsh, Susan Molinari, and Adam Kinzinger.

The “Republicans for Harris” effort is designed to engage Republican voters in promoting Harris within their communities. This initiative is described by the campaign as a “campaign within a campaign,” with launch events scheduled in crucial battleground states like Arizona, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

Austin Weatherford, Harris’s national director for Republican outreach, commented on the initiative, saying, “Trump’s extreme MAGA agenda no longer reflects the values of many Republicans. A growing number of GOP voters are ready to oppose him in November to restore reason and integrity to our political landscape.”
