Washington, D.C. – Senator Adam Schiff, D-Calif., is under fire again after blasting Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, who recently released explosive declassified documents implicating the Obama administration in a political scheme to sabotage Donald Trump during the 2016 election.
The documents reveal that top officials under President Barack Obama helped fabricate an Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) filled with misleading and false claims—claims that were later used to launch the now-discredited Trump-Russia collusion narrative.
“This was a coordinated political attack to derail Trump before he ever took office,” said a senior official familiar with the findings.
“The American people deserve accountability.”
Schiff Downplays Bombshell Intelligence – White House Fires Back
Schiff dismissed Gabbard’s revelations, telling Fox News Digital, “What Gabbard and her team are doing is misleading.” But the Biden-era Democrat stopped short of denying any of the core findings.
White House Press Secretary Davis Ingle issued a blistering rebuttal:
“Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff was a key mouthpiece for the Russia hoax,” Ingle said. “Now that the truth is surfacing, he’s trying to hide behind the very lies he helped spread.”
Schiff has long been a lightning rod for controversy, especially among older conservative voters who watched him lead the Democrat-driven impeachment efforts against President Trump.

Attorney General Pam Bondi has now formed a special DOJ Strike Force to investigate the declassified documents. The task force will focus on what role Obama’s top advisors—including former CIA Director John Brennan—played in shaping a narrative many now call “the biggest political hoax in modern American history.”
“The Department of Justice will leave no stone unturned,” Bondi vowed.
Trump Responds: ‘Shifty Schiff Is in Big Trouble’
President Trump responded swiftly on Truth Social, warning:
“Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff is in BIG TROUBLE! He tried to take down my family and failed. Now it’s time for accountability.”
Trump went on to say that Schiff knowingly lied about Trump’s son, accusing him of crimes based on fabricated evidence. “This was an American tragedy,” Trump added. “Now the real criminals must pay the price.”
Mortgage Fraud Allegations Surface Against Schiff
In a separate scandal, Schiff is facing allegations of mortgage and bank fraud related to a luxury property in Potomac, Maryland. According to a letter from the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) to the Department of Justice, Schiff may have falsified financial records between 2003 and 2019 to secure more favorable loan terms.
Despite mounting evidence, Schiff continues to claim innocence.
“This is nothing more than political retaliation,” Schiff said. “Trump’s been calling for my arrest for years—now he’s trying to make it happen.”
