Biden is clearly a weak President.
House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Republican from Louisiana, asserted that President Joe Biden is demonstrating cowardice on the global stage following his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in San Francisco.
According to Newsmax, speaking on the “Cats and Cosby” radio show hosted by John Catsimatidis, Johnson expressed his concern, stating, “Anyone who assesses this objectively would have to acknowledge that President Biden is projecting weakness internationally. I adhere to the principles of the Reagan school, which emphasized maintaining peace through strength. Reagan was absolutely correct. When you convey weakness, you open the door to aggression. It’s a precarious time to be inviting aggression towards our nation, which is why we observe China, Iran, Russia, and all our global adversaries being exceptionally provocative.”
Johnson also criticized American tech CEOs for their warm reception of Xi at a dinner hosted on Thursday. He remarked, “I found it disgraceful that CEOs of tech companies gave standing ovations to a Communist leader of a nation that persecutes its own people, wreaks havoc globally, and seeks to be a peer-to-peer adversary with the United States. This is not a game, and we must take it very seriously.”
The tension between the U.S. and China escalated during the summit when Biden and Xi engaged in a verbal exchange over Taiwan policy. Despite the heated exchange, both leaders expressed a willingness to explore opportunities for economic collaboration.
The controversy further intensified when Biden referred to Xi as a “dictator” during a subsequent press conference, stating, “Look, he is. He’s a dictator in the sense that he’s a guy who runs a country that is a communist country and operates under a form of government entirely different from ours.”
