This is very suspicious.
Democrat Stacey Abrams is in line to receive a $1 million donation from none other than billionaire entrepreneur George Soros.
According to Yahoo News, Soros is expected to donate a whopping $1 million to Abrams’ campaign in hopes to get her elected. The catch is however that Abrams won’t be allowed to spend even one cent of the money until she is named the official Democratic nominee.
Abrams is unable to spend the money because of a new Georgia law passed by the Georgia state GOP.
After the law was passed Stacey Abrams acted as the de facto Democratic nominee and tried to sue for the law to be changed.
Abrams argued in court, Statewide candidates, such as those running for governor, are currently allowed to raise $7,600 from individual donors for the primary and again for the general election, plus $4,500 per runoff. In contrast, Kemp’s leadership committee had taken checks up to $250,000 from individual donors in its first few months of operation.
Regardless of all of this, it is very interesting to see George Soros getting involved in the gubernatorial race especially one that far-left Democrat Stacey Abrams is running in.
