Did she want to end her legacy like this?

It’s beginning to look like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will end her decades long political career with the battle for Roe v. Wade as being her final battle, a battle that she does not appear she wants to fight.

According to The Hill, Speaker Pelosi, who is the first female House Speaker, has spent three decades pushing for women’s reproductive rights and now the final battle could be the one she loses.

Pelosi began attacking the Supreme Court after documents were leaked from the Supreme Court which showed they were planning to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Now, many Democrats and political experts are looking at Pelosi to lead them into the battle for women’s reproductive rights.

Princeton University’s Julian Zelizer explained, “It will highlight for many Democrats why more Pelosis are needed in American politics, so that issues of reproductive rights aren’t relegated to a secondary status.”

After the news broke of Roe v. Wade being overturned, Pelosi issued an immediate statement to rally Democrats saying, “It is urgent and essential that we remain disciplined and focused in sharing with the American people the dangers of the Republican agenda.”

It’s beginning to look like this is going to be Pelosi’s final battle in her long and crooked career whether she likes it or not.
