Top Election Guru Makes Scary 2028 Prediction

Democrat are leaning further left after their 2024 election defeat. Are they okay?

The far-left wing of the Democratic Party may soon have a new face at the top—and it’s one that should concern every patriotic American.

According to political analyst Nate Silver, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is the most likely Democrat to lead the party’s presidential ticket in 2028—if she decides to run.

This shocking prediction came during a “2028 Democratic Primary Draft” on Silver’s Silver Bulletin Substack, where he discussed future contenders with political podcaster Galen Druke.

Is the Democratic Party Headed Even Further Left?

During the conversation, Druke made AOC his first pick. Silver, caught off guard, exclaimed:

“F–k you. That was going to be my f–king first pick!”

Why is AOC considered a top contender?

Druke cited a recent Yale University poll that gave Ocasio-Cortez a staggering +60 favorability rating among Democrat voters—placing her second behind Kamala Harris in a hypothetical 2028 matchup.

But many are asking: Is America ready for an openly socialist candidate at the top of a major party’s ticket?

AOC’s Radical Platform Gains Ground

Druke noted AOC’s broad appeal on the Left.

“She has very fervent support. In a crowded primary, passion wins.”

Indeed, the Bronx congresswoman has been traveling the country with Sen. Bernie Sanders on a “Fighting Oligarchy Tour,” openly pushing anti-capitalist themes.

Meanwhile, Silver pointed out that AOC polls well against Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, despite New York Democrats generally leaning moderate.

“She’s a canny politician,” Silver admitted. “And very charismatic.”

2028 Democrat Field: A Who’s Who of Liberal Elites

With Ocasio-Cortez off the board, Silver picked Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro—a more traditional moderate. But the rest of the field? A mix of names closely tied to the failed policies of the Biden years:

  • Gavin Newsom (CA)
  • Gretchen Whitmer (MI)
  • Cory Booker (NJ)
  • John Fetterman (PA)
  • Raphael Warnock (GA)
  • Andrew Cuomo (NY)
  • Amy Klobuchar (MN)
  • Mark Cuban (TX)

Druke chose Harris as his second pick, followed by Pete Buttigieg, Ruben Gallego, Jared Polis, Wes Moore, J.B. Pritzker, and even Bernie Sanders.

Are these the voices that represent working-class Americans?

Kamala Harris: The Wild Card

While some still see Kamala Harris as a leading contender, even Silver was skeptical. He pointed to her poor 2024 campaign performance, calling it full of “tactical errors.”

Druke agreed that Harris isn’t exactly a rock star but argued she could clear the field with her universal name recognition.

Still, there’s buzz that Harris might run for California governor in 2026 instead of another national campaign.

Hollywood Meddling in 2028?

One unexpected figure fueling speculation is actor George Clooney, who previously attacked President Joe Biden’s mental fitness in a New York Times op-ed.

Clooney is reportedly boosting Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, calling him a contender “levitating above” the rest.

Is Hollywood trying to handpick America’s next president?

What This Means for 2028—and Beyond

The rise of AOC signals something deeper: a Democrat Party in ideological crisis.

What began with Barack Obama and accelerated under Joe Biden is now on the verge of a full-blown progressive takeover. If AOC runs, it won’t just be a campaign—it will be a referendum on socialism in America.

And remember, Nate Silver—who once doubted Donald Trump—now admits Trump could win again, despite the media’s relentless attacks.

Bottom Line: Be Prepared

The 2028 election is already taking shape. And it looks like the battle won’t just be between Right and Left—but between freedom and far-left control.
