Uh-oh!
Yesterday, the mainstream media quickly spread the news of witness Cassidy Hutchinson telling the Jan. 6 Committee that former President Donald Trump attempted to grab the steering wheel of Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations Tony Ornato and even lunged at Secret Service Agent Bobby Engel during the Capitol riot.
According to Fox, Hutchinson was a former top aide to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. Hutchinson claimed that Trump got physical with agents when he was told that he wouldn’t be taken to the Capitol where the riot was taking place.
Now it appears that both Ornato and Engel are claiming that none of these things ever happened!
Fox News discovered that a source close to Ornato said he watched the hearing and was shocked to hear the accusations Cassidy Hutchinson was making.
The source further explained that both Engel and Ornato never said anything about Trump reaching for the steering wheel to anyone. Now both men want to testify about these claims in court themselves to clear Trump’s name!
Another source told Fox that while it is true that Trump was furious about not being able to go to the Capitol he never reached for the steering wheel and he never lunged at anyone.
