Could Trump’s prediction come true?

President Joe Biden has officially declared his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election. However, former President Donald Trump has expressed his doubts on Newsmax, stating that he doesn’t believe the oldest president in history will be able to compete in the general election come 2024.

In transcript provided by Newsmax, “It seems to be hard to believe, and I’m not speaking from any standpoint that I watch him like everybody watches him, and it certainly seems hard to believe,” Trump explained. “It was hard to believe four years ago, but he was in the basement.”

Trump then predicted, “It’ll seem to me that somewhere along the line something will happen. It’s just this country is in trouble.”

Trump brought attention to Biden’s alleged cognitive challenges that hinder him from delivering a live and in-person presidential campaign announcement, a traditional requirement for centuries, according to Trump’s perspective.

Trump then added, “Now, they’re actually doing a tape of the announcement. He’s not going to do the announcement. Normally you get up and say, ‘Hey, I’m running. Wish me luck everybody.’

“But he’s doing a tape. This way you can do it four or five times until he gets it right. But I don’t think a thing like that’s ever been done to put it on tape.”

Trump predicts that Biden’s struggling administration will lead to his downfall, and even goes so far as to suggest that there is a risk of a nuclear World War III under Biden’s leadership.

“We’re going to end up in World War III,” Trump explained. “We’re talking nuclear weapons. And we have somebody that doesn’t understand what’s happening.”

“We’ve got Ukraine and Russia fighting and we’re being dragged into it. It’s going to be a disaster. And they’re talking, again, nuclear all over the place,” he added.

According to Trump, despite critics attributing the potential of global conflict to him during his presidency, it is actually Biden’s unsuccessful foreign policy that has escalated global tensions and prompted discussions of nuclear war.

Trump stated that during his presidency, China did not speak as aggressively about Taiwan as they do now. He believes that China understood the consequences of such rhetoric and therefore refrained from it.
