This is a great new title.
During a recent appearance on Fox News, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked President Donald Trump, calling him “the greatest ally Israel had had in the White House ever.” Netanyahu’s remarks highlighted the strong and lasting bond between the U.S. and Israel under Trump’s leadership, stressing that the U.S. has no better ally than Israel.
Speaking on “Life, Liberty & Levin,” Netanyahu reflected on the deepening ties between the two nations, noting that Trump’s bold policies have fundamentally strengthened America’s relationship with Israel. “Israel has no greater friend in the U.S. now under Donald Trump’s leadership, and America has no greater ally than Israel,” Netanyahu said.
The Israeli Prime Minister also endorsed Trump’s innovative plan to address the ongoing conflict with the Palestinians, specifically focusing on the resettlement of displaced Palestinians from Gaza. Trump proposed that Gaza be resettled outside its current boundaries, with the U.S. taking ownership of the region, a move that Netanyahu believes has the potential to dramatically shift the status quo. “President Trump’s proposal is the first fresh idea in years, and it has the potential to change everything in Gaza,” he said, emphasizing that the status quo of conflict had gone on long enough.
Addressing questions about polling and political opposition, Netanyahu dismissed pre-election polls that suggested Trump’s unpopularity, calling them “fake.” He pointed out that similar misleading polls had been seen in Israel, underscoring the partisan nature of public opinion.
Netanyahu also shared a personal moment, mentioning that he gifted Trump a gold-plated pager, symbolizing Israel’s surprise military operations, which have consistently caught adversaries off guard. He reiterated his commitment to eliminating Hamas, noting broad bipartisan support for this goal. “I saw it on Capitol Hill and not just on the Republican side,” he said.
