Here’s what we know…

President Biden, the Justice Department, the FBI and Democrats are trying to pin Espionage Act charges among several other violations against former President Donald Trump.

At the moment Trump has not been charged with any crimes however massive speculation has began to mount about the Justice Department’s next move following the raid of Trump’s home.

According to Newsweek, Donald Trump, who the Democrats accuse of violating the Espionage Act, carries a penalty of a fine, up to 10 years in prison or both.

If the Democrats go as far as attempting to jail a former President of the United States on phony charges, it would be a first in American history.

Furthermore, in the warrant which was made public it explained what property was to be seized. The document stated, “All physical documents and records constituting evidence, contraband, fruits of crime, or other items illegally possessed in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 793, 2071, or 1519.”

18 U.S.C. §§ 793 is a reference to the Espionage Act which states: “Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed.”

The warrant claims that the raid at Mar-a-Lago was conducted due to potentially serious offenses and whoever is convicted can face several years in prison.

As of right now neither Donald Trump or anyone else has been charges with any crimes however the investigation is still ongoing. Democrats would be very bold and out of their minds if they really attempt to imprison Trump.
