Trump Makes Nikki Haley Cry

Sorry Nikki, things just aren’t working out.

After President Donald Trump publicly announced that Nikki Haley would not be part of his upcoming administration, the former U.N. Ambassador responded graciously, wishing the president-elect “great success” in his second term.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, Haley expressed her support for Trump and his future efforts. “I was happy to work with Trump protecting America at the U.N.,” she said, adding, “I hope him, and everyone who serves, great success in directing us forward to a stronger, and more safe America for the next 4 years.”

Her response followed a direct announcement from Trump on Truth Social, where he clarified that both Haley and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo would not be included in his new cabinet. “I am not inviting Nikki Haley, or Mike Pompeo, into the Trump Administration, which is currently being created,” Trump wrote. Despite the decision, he expressed gratitude for their service: “I liked and appreciated working with them in the past, and want to thank them for their service to our nation. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Haley, who had once run against Trump for the Republican nomination, had cast herself as a potential alternative during the primary race. However, she later penned an op-ed supporting Trump just days before the election, acknowledging their differences but emphasizing the importance of voting for Trump over Joe Biden. “I do not agree with Trump all of the time,” she wrote, “but I often agree with him a lot of the time, and I do not agree with Kamala Harris all the time. That makes this an easy decision.”

Despite not being selected for a key role in Trump’s new administration, Haley’s response reflects a commitment to supporting the president’s vision for America and a recognition of the importance of unity within the Republican Party. As the country looks ahead, Haley’s message underscores the shared goals of a stronger, more prosperous nation.
