There’s a lot of dirty politics going on and thankfully Trump sees right through it.
President Donald Trump and tech mogul Elon Musk, two key figures in the conservative movement, recently discussed how the mainstream media has relentlessly attempted to drive a wedge between them and undermine their efforts. Both leaders, known for their bluntness and resolve, made it clear that the media’s agenda was to create division.
During a joint interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, Trump responded affirmatively when Hannity mentioned how prominent outlets like The New York Times and The Washington Post had thrown everything they could at him. Trump agreed, acknowledging the media’s continued efforts to manipulate the narrative and distract from his mission.
“They want you to start hating each other,” Hannity observed, to which Trump nodded, reflecting on how the media had tried but ultimately failed in their efforts. “Oh, I see it all the time. They tried it, then they stopped. They have many different tactics—hatred is one of them,” Trump added, demonstrating his unshaken determination to stand against the media’s attempts to control the narrative.
Musk, who has become an influential ally to Trump, also chimed in, recalling how he was once celebrated by the left but became a target after he publicly supported Trump. He compared the media’s sudden shift in attitude toward him to being “shot with a dart in the jugular” filled with hostility. Musk emphasized that his outspoken support for Trump had been met with overwhelming disdain from the left, showing how vicious and unrelenting the media can be when it comes to silencing conservative voices.
The two discussed how the media had tried to create false narratives, like the claim that Trump had “ceded control” of the presidency to Musk. Trump scoffed at the notion, pointing out that if the media had been effective in their campaign against him, he would never have made it to the White House in the first place.
In recent weeks, both Trump and Musk have been vocal critics of mainstream media, particularly in their coverage of Trump’s presidency and Musk’s role in streamlining government operations. Musk even suggested that CBS News journalists should face consequences for their biased reporting, while Trump has repeatedly called for broadcasters with unfavorable coverage to have their licenses revoked.
It’s clear that both Trump and Musk see through the media’s manipulation, and they remain steadfast in their mission to expose the truth, stand up for conservative values, and push back against a corrupt system that aims to silence them.
