Trump Sends Democrats In Hiding

Why are Democrats so scared?

Even Bill Maher — one of Hollywood’s most outspoken liberals — is now blasting Democrats for being too afraid to face tough questions. On his HBO show Real Time, Maher exposed big-name Democrats like former Vice President Kamala Harris and the Clintons, accusing them of ducking his invitations because they’re scared of the spotlight.

Maher admitted his audience often wonders why he doesn’t host major Democrats. His answer? It’s not for lack of trying. “We ask them every week. They say no. It took eight years and a petition to get Obama on,” Maher explained.

For a man who openly admits to voting Democrat most of his life, the revelation was shocking. “They’re afraid to come on the show of a guy who voted for them,” Maher mocked. By contrast, he praised Republicans for showing courage, saying they come on, debate, and “take their beating like a man.”

Republicans Show Backbone – Democrats Hide

Maher rolled a highlight reel featuring conservatives like former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, former Attorney General Bill Barr, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and longtime Trump ally Steve Bannon. Each clashed with Maher directly, unafraid of heated exchanges.

Meanwhile, Democrat stars like AOC, Elizabeth Warren, and Kamala Harris remain nowhere to be found. Maher joked that Democrats seem more afraid of “being primaried by the far-left — or gluten — than actually defending their record.”

One Democrat Earns Respect – But Still Gets Torched

Ironically, the only Democrat who gained a shred of respect was California Gov. Gavin Newsom. Maher joked about his “perfect hair” but applauded him for at least showing up. Yet when Newsom appeared, Maher hammered him over California’s endless regulations.

Maher even shared his personal frustration: after the devastating wildfires near his Pacific Palisades home, he was forced to pay out-of-pocket for two separate inspections just to repair his own roof. “It’s my roof! If it falls on my head, that’s my problem,” he said, blasting California’s red tape.

What It Really Means

Maher’s takedown revealed something bigger: Democrats can’t even face one of their own without fear. If liberal leaders won’t appear on a late-night show hosted by a fellow Democrat voter, how can they be trusted to lead the country?

Republicans, on the other hand, show up, argue their case, and prove they aren’t afraid of tough conversations — a stark reminder of why so many Americans are turning back to President Trump and the GOP.

👉 Bottom line: Even Bill Maher sees it — today’s Democrats are in hiding, and it’s conservatives who still have the backbone to fight.
