These are some wild accusations to make.
A federal judge appointed by former President Bill Clinton is blaming President Donald J. Trump’s strong and direct way of speaking for so-called threats against members of the judiciary.
Judge Robert Lasnik, a longtime Clinton appointee serving in Seattle, told Oregon Public Broadcasting that Trump’s criticism of activist judges “fuels hostility.” His exact words: “There’s no need to refer to a judge as a radical left-wing lunatic. It breeds threats of violence.”
But for millions of law-abiding Americans—especially seniors, veterans, and hard-working families—President Trump’s bold leadership is exactly what’s needed to take back control from an out-of-touch judicial elite.
Lasnik, who previously backed efforts to block Trump’s executive orders, recalled supporting fellow judges who faced online criticism after halting key America First policies. “I feel for you, and especially for your families,” he said.
What Lasnik failed to mention is the growing concern among voters over unelected judges undermining national security, immigration reform, and religious freedom—core issues for American patriots who support law and order.
House Republicans Push Back with the No Rogue Rulings Act
The judge’s comments come just as House lawmakers prepare to vote on the No Rogue Rulings Act, legislation aimed at limiting district court judges from issuing nationwide injunctions. The bill is seen as a direct response to years of judicial overreach under Democrat-appointed judges.
A White House spokesperson told Fox News Digital:
“These anti-Trump elites have no credibility. They stayed silent when the Obama-Biden administration weaponized the DOJ against Catholics, parents, doctors, and conservative Americans. President Trump stands proudly for the Constitution and the American people.”
Lasnik, who claimed he is not currently hearing any Trump-related cases, criticized the current Department of Justice for becoming “more political,” stating that calls to remove judges are “very unfortunate.”
But conservatives across the country see it differently. Many believe it’s time to rein in politically motivated judges and restore balance, accountability, and respect for the Constitution.
