Trump’s Promise To American Kids

Trump Team wants to make sure America’s future is happy and most importantly healthy.

Washington, D.C. – In a powerful new move to protect American families, U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., working under President Donald Trump’s leadership, has announced a sweeping crackdown on dangerous synthetic food dyes that have infiltrated the nation’s food supply for decades.

Appearing on Jesse Watters Primetime, RFK Jr. didn’t mince words.

“This isn’t real food. These are food-like substances laced with poison,” he said. “We’re going to do real science—science that helps parents keep their kids healthy.”

Kennedy was joined by top health officials including NIH Director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya and FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary, who laid out a detailed plan to phase out petroleum-based food dyes, many of which have been linked to cancer, behavioral issues in children, and long-term chronic diseases.

⚠️ The Hidden Health Crisis in America’s Pantry

This latest action builds on a recent FDA ruling that banned Red Dye No. 3, a petroleum-based additive found in everything from candy to cough syrup. Scientific studies have connected the dye to cancer in animals, yet it remained in U.S. foods long after other countries had outlawed it.

Now, the FDA is fast-tracking plans to revoke approval for two more synthetic dyes—Citrus Red No. 2 and Orange B—and has launched a full review of six additional artificial colors, including:

  • Yellow No. 5
  • Green No. 3

The goal? To completely remove these chemicals from the food supply by the end of 2026 and replace them with natural, plant-based alternatives like butterfly pea flower extract and beet juice powder—colorings already widely used in Europe and Canada.

🇺🇸 Under President Trump: A Return to Real Food and Real Values

RFK Jr. credited President Trump with giving him the freedom to focus on what truly matters to American families.

“Under my uncle John F. Kennedy, only 3% of Americans suffered from chronic disease. Today, that number is 60%. Our children are getting sicker, fatter, and weaker,” he warned. “Seventy-four percent of our kids aren’t even healthy enough to serve in the military. That’s a national security threat.”

He pointed to the stark difference in popular products like Froot Loops.

“In Canada, they use vegetable dyes. In the U.S., it’s petroleum chemicals—substances banned in most of the civilized world,” Kennedy said.

🛡️ Why This Matters to You

If you’re over 50, you probably remember a time when food was simple, wholesome, and made without chemicals. Today, even foods marketed to children are filled with toxic additives, preservatives, and artificial ingredients that were never meant to be consumed.

This is not just a health issue—it’s a fight for our country’s future.

What You Can Do

  • Read labels: Watch for synthetic dyes like Red 40, Yellow 5, and Blue 1.
