Bannon Tears Into Trump’s DOGE

Bannon is asking some tough questions.

🇺🇸 Trump Ally Warns: “Where’s the $2 Trillion in Cuts We Were Promised?”

Conservative leader and staunch Trump supporter Steve Bannon is raising serious red flags about the inner workings of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)—a taxpayer watchdog agency spearheaded by none other than Elon Musk, the billionaire tech mogul behind Tesla and SpaceX.

At the recent World Economy Summit, Bannon applauded DOGE’s mission to slash federal waste, but didn’t mince words when it came to its financial transparency—or lack thereof.

“We were promised $2 trillion in cuts, then $1 trillion, then $150 billion—and now zero. Something isn’t right,” Bannon said. “We need a department-by-department breakdown of fraud and abuse, signed off by every agency head.”

💰 Follow the Money: “If You’re Not Looking at the Pentagon, You’re Not Serious”

Bannon argued that real reform begins at the Pentagon, where defense spending often goes unchecked. “You can’t clean up Washington without investigating where the real waste is happening,” he said.

Though Bannon has previously supported the DOGE initiative, he’s been highly critical of Elon Musk’s global ties, particularly his business relationships in China and his stance on immigration and H-1B visa programs.

“We need a signed certification,” Bannon added, “that no government data—none—is retained by anyone outside the Trump administration or the United States government.”

🤖 Elon Musk Plans to Step Back—But Where’s the Proof of Progress?

Musk recently announced during Tesla’s earnings call that he intends to scale back his role at DOGE, citing the need to refocus on his companies. But critics aren’t convinced the job is finished.

“There’s been pushback over my time in government,” Musk said. “But this work is crucial—America’s deficit is spiraling, and DOGE is making progress stopping waste and fraud.”

Bannon isn’t buying it without receipts.

“Trust but verify,” he told Semafor, demanding a full audit of DOGE’s impact before Musk steps away.

🏛️ White House Silent as Questions Mount Over DOGE’s Results

So far, the Biden White House has refused to comment on whether it will require any formal report or public audit of the cuts Musk promised. With no clear timeline for Musk’s departure—and no detailed report from DOGE—many are asking: Was this all just smoke and mirrors?

🔻 Conservatives Deserve Real Answers on Taxpayer Dollars

Steve Bannon’s message is clear: It’s time for full accountability and no more broken promises from elites—whether they come from Silicon Valley or Washington, D.C.
