Illegal Immigrant With Criminal Record Detained After Court Appearance
According to the Department of Homeland Security, Contreras has a history of criminal activity, including theft and drug possession. ICE agents detained him after a court proceeding related to Pennsylvania’s Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program for DUI offenders.
“This criminal illegal alien admitted to being in the U.S. unlawfully,” said DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin.
Contreras was transported to the Pike County Correctional Facility, where he remains in custody pending further action.
