Trump’s not going to like this.
In a recent interview with CNN’s Manu Raju, Republican Senator Mike Rounds begged his fellow Republican lawmakers to reassure their constituents about the voting system in America and urged them to trust it.
Sen. Rounds request comes in total opposition to former President Donald Trump who has been casting doubt on the 2020 elections outcome since Joe Biden won the presidency.
According to Yahoo, Rounds told CNN, “I think it’s critical that we offer the American public our direct view that they can trust the election system in the United States today and that they can go to the polls knowing that their votes will be counted.”
After getting attacked by Trump, Rounds says Rs should provide voters with “good information” that polls can be trusted, regardless of what Trump says, so “we’re seen as being responsible and honest. That’s what the American people deserve, and that’s what many of us want to do” pic.twitter.com/2lG1DRSs8f

Sen. Rounds recently shared a similar sentiment regarding the 2020 election and Trump responded to Rounds’ comments by saying that he would never endorse him again.
