World War III Officially Begins?

Things are getting worse and worse.

If you were hoping for tensions to begin start deescalating think again because now Russian President Vladimir Putin just signed a new bill to formally suspending their last nuclear arms treaty with the United States.

According to Newsmax, Putin had declared a week ago that he was going to roll back on Russia’s treaty with the U.S which is known as the START treaty. Putin argued that the U.S. can no longer inspect their nuclear sites since both the U.S. and NATO want them to lose the war in Ukraine.

Both houses of parliament in Russia immediately ratified Putin’s bill to suspend the treaty and Putin just signed off on it on Tuesday.

U.S. undersecretary of state for arms control said, “Russia is once again showing the world that it is not a responsible nuclear power.”

Jenkins went on to say that the U.S. has not fully assessed all of the actions of Russia’s decision to suspend the treaty. Later adding, “We’re not seeing any evidence that Russia is in noncompliance.”

“We remain ready to work assertively with Russia to fully implement the New START treaty,” Jenkins added.

The START treaty that Putin just canceled limited the number of nuclear weapons that both the U.S. and Russia could possess to just 1,550 deployed nuclear warheads and 700 deployed missiles and bombers.
