Democrats can’t stop whining.
Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D) is once again playing the victim after President Donald Trump made a joke about his weight — and the story is drawing national attention.
On Monday, Pritzker snapped back at the President, accusing Trump of acting like “a guy still living in fifth grade.” He even tried to hit back with his own jab, claiming Trump is “not in good shape” either.
But Trump, known for his blunt and direct style, brushed off the whining and delivered another sharp line: the governor “ought to spend more time in the gym.”
It’s not the first time Trump has called out Pritzker. At a 2024 Ohio campaign rally, Trump said the Democrat was “too busy eating” to lead his state — a remark that drew big laughs from the crowd. “He wants to eat all the time,” Trump quipped, fueling a roar of applause.
Pritzker, meanwhile, is trying to shift the focus. Over the weekend, he accused Trump of “abusing his power” after reports surfaced that the President might send National Guard troops to Chicago to restore law and order. Similar deployments have already been made in Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles.
Illinois officials admitted they never asked for federal help. But many Americans see it differently: Trump is tackling violent crime head-on, while Democrat leaders like Pritzker cry foul instead of fixing their own problems.
