Conservatives are expressing their discontent with President Biden over a recent revelation that his aides have been instructed to publicly acknowledge only six grandchildren, intentionally omitting his 4-year-old estranged granddaughter, Hunter Biden’s daughter.
According to Fox, Hunter Biden recently resolved his child support case in Arkansas, putting an end to a lengthy dispute over paternity concerning his 4-year-old daughter. However, both the president and the first lady have chosen not to recognize her as their seventh grandchild.
In a court filing last Thursday, Hunter agreed to provide his daughter with some of his paintings, while the child’s mother, Lunden Alexis Roberts, agreed to withdraw her counterclaim to change the child’s last name to “Biden.”
A scathing report published by The New York Times on Saturday sheds light on the family conflict, which revolves around issues of money, divisive politics, and the implications of being part of the Biden family.
Sources familiar with the matter have informed the newspaper that discussions within the White House have stressed that the president and First Lady Jill Biden have six grandchildren, intentionally disregarding the existence of a seventh. This directive has been conveyed to White House aides during strategy meetings.
During an event at the White House in April, President Biden specifically mentioned six of his grandchildren by name, emphasizing his affection for them and his daily interactions with them. Furthermore, the annual tradition of hanging Christmas stockings at the White House has consistently excluded the seventh grandchild.
However, as President Biden gears up for a potential re-election campaign in 2024 and as scrutiny surrounding Hunter’s foreign business dealings intensifies, he has made a public effort to embrace his son and grandson, bringing them to Camp David for consecutive weekends.
Just last month, the Justice Department announced that Hunter Biden had reached a plea agreement concerning two tax violations and a felony gun charge, a resolution that is likely to spare him from imprisonment.
Conservative voices on Twitter have strongly criticized the Bidens, denouncing the alleged neglect of their granddaughter as “disturbing” and “heartbreaking.”
