President Biden and Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis have been butting heads ever since Biden took office and now Gov. DeSantis’ new plan has Biden and the Democrats angrier than ever!
According to Newsmax, Governor DeSantis is now considering following in Texas’ footsteps and instituting their own law banning abortion after a fetal heartbeat is detect.
“We’ve been able to do pro-life legislation,” DeSantis stated. “I’m pro-life. I welcome pro-life legislation. What they did in Texas was interesting. I’ve always been somebody that really does support protections for life as best as we can do.”
DeSantis didn’t promise to mimic Texas’ law but said he is strongly considering it, “I haven’t been really able to look at enough about it,” DeSantis stated. “They’ve basically done this through a private right of action. And so, it’s a little bit different than how these debates have gone. We’ll have to look, I’m going to look more significantly at it.”
