People are furious!
Just when President Biden could make Americans any angrier, he goes and does this.
It has now been learned that President Biden is ordering the left over $7 billion in Afghan assets be split up and given out. Half of the money will go to the victims of 9/11 and their families, the other half however will be going towards humanitarian aid for the Afghan people.
According to Fox, The United States froze the funds immediately after the Taliban took over Afghanistan last year. Now half of that money will be given back to humanitarian groups for Afghan relief and basic needs.
The other half will be given to U.S. terrorism victims who filed lawsuits against the Taliban.
The White House explained that Biden’s decision is “designed to provide a path for the funds to reach the people of Afghanistan while keeping them out of the hands of the Taliban and malicious actors.”
After learning about Biden’s new decision, Americans are angry and rightfully so. Many people believe that all of the money should go to the victims of 9/11.
