Liz Cheney is such a joke.

Liz Cheney, a former representative from Wyoming who has consistently voiced her disapproval of former President Trump, recently stated that she is considering the possibility of running for president in 2024.

In transcript provided by The Hill, Cheney explained, “I’m not making any announcements today. I am really focused on making sure that Donald Trump isn’t anywhere close to the Oval Office.”

Having served on the House select committee investigating the January 6, 2021, Capitol attacks, Liz Cheney has been vocal about her criticism of the former president’s role in the incident. She has made it clear that she intends to actively campaign against individuals who have denied the outcome of the 2020 election, including Trump, who continues to assert that the election was unlawfully taken from him.

In a recent ad launched in New Hampshire, Liz Cheney directly targeted Trump, highlighting a significant claim. The ad’s voiceover stated that Trump stands as the singular president in American history who has declined to ensure a peaceful transfer of power.

“Donald Trump has proven he is unfit for office. Donald Trump is a risk America can never take again,” Cheney said in the ad.

In September of last year, Liz Cheney made a statement indicating that if she were to run for the presidency in the future, she would not be identified as a Republican candidate on the ballot. This declaration has sparked speculation and discussion, with some suggesting that she might consider launching an independent campaign for the presidency.

During a recent discussion moderated by Devin Scillian, Liz Cheney was asked if she would contemplate running as a third-party candidate in an election. In response, she expressed that she has not dismissed the possibility and is open to considering such an option.

“I think that we have to have good people, and I don’t know yet what that is going to look like,” Cheney added.
