This is not good.
It looks like the crooked Democrats finally got exactly what they were looking for because the House Ways and Means Committee is now set to finally obtain former President Donald Trump’s IRS tax returns in one week.
According to CNN, this move comes after a federal appeals court turned down Trump’s request to hold the release.
It’s important to know that this isn’t all bad news for Trump because the Supreme Court could still step up and block the release of Trump’s records.
Democratic Rep. Richard Neal attacked Trump and claimed that he “tried to delay the inevitable, but once again, the Court has affirmed the strength of our position.”
Neal then added, “We’ve waited long enough – we must begin our oversight of the IRS’s mandatory presidential audit program as soon as possible.”
If the Democrats do end up with Trump’s tax information it will be another reason for them to place phony and sensationalized attacks against the former President to further destroy of chances in 2024.
