Conservative commenters began making jokes about why the internship was associated with Hillary Clinton’s office rather than her husband’s.
One commenter quipped that Bill had effectively lost his “intern privileges.”
Another invoked Clinton’s famous legalistic language from the controversy that dominated the final years of his presidency.
