Letitia James Blackmails Trump

This is a shocking revelation!

Former Trump attorney Michael Cohen is now alleging that New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg pressured and coerced him into testifying against President Donald Trump during the high-profile legal cases brought against the president before his return to the White House.

In a Substack essay published Friday, Cohen claimed that both prosecutors demanded testimony designed to advance their cases rather than uncover the full truth.

“I felt compelled to give them what they were seeking,” Cohen wrote, asserting that James and Bragg operated with the same political objective despite leading different offices.

The allegations surface as President Trump continues to fight the Manhattan district attorney’s “hush money” conviction in federal appeals court, while also seeking to overturn the $454 million civil fraud judgment brought by the New York attorney general over claims related to his real estate business.

Cohen said his interactions with prosecutors left him with the clear impression that their goal was not impartial justice, but securing guilty findings against Trump at any cost.

“From the first meetings through the trials themselves, I felt consistent pressure to tailor my testimony to satisfy the government’s narrative,” Cohen wrote. “They were not interested in anything that didn’t support their predetermined outcome.”

Cohen acknowledged that his cooperation was influenced by personal motives. After serving more than a year in federal prison for tax offenses, bank fraud, and lying to Congress, he hoped that assisting prosecutors would be viewed favorably.

However, he alleged that when his testimony failed to support the prosecution’s claims, attorneys resorted to leading and suggestive questioning to push him toward preferred answers.

Regarding the civil fraud case, Cohen said the attorney general’s team made it clear that the testimony they wanted was testimony aimed directly at damaging President Trump.

Although recent appeals proceedings have not yet overturned the conviction or civil judgment, Cohen argued they have exposed what he described as a rushed and politically driven prosecution.

“People ask why I’m speaking out now,” Cohen wrote. “It’s because I’ve seen firsthand the damage that occurs when prosecutors choose their target first and then search for evidence to justify it.”

He warned that when legal power is used for political purposes, public trust in the justice system suffers.

“Justice must be credible, not just effective,” Cohen added. “When politics and prosecution become indistinguishable, confidence in the rule of law erodes.”

President Trump responded sharply, calling both New York cases a coordinated political operation.

“This was a SET UP from the beginning,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. “Radical Left activists are doing everything possible to destroy our Country, and they should be held accountable.”

Trump also expressed confidence in New York’s judiciary while condemning the prosecutions themselves, saying many judges are embarrassed by what has taken place.

During the civil fraud trial, Cohen testified that he worked with former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg to inflate asset values on financial documents. Trump’s legal team countered by highlighting Cohen’s criminal history and credibility issues.

In the hush money case, Cohen claimed Trump was involved in payments made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels to prevent her from publicly discussing an alleged past relationship.

Under cross-examination, Cohen admitted to repeated lies and acknowledged stealing $60,000 from Trump—admissions defense attorneys used to argue that his testimony could not be trusted.

As the appeals process continues, Cohen’s latest claims are reigniting debate over whether President Trump was treated fairly under the law—or targeted by political opponents determined to stop him by any means necessary.
