McConnell needs to go!
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell just handed Biden a major victory and slammed a group of Senate Republicans by accusing them of trying to force a government shutdown.
The Republicans who McConnell sabotaged were trying to stop President Biden from enforcing new vaccine and testing mandates and McConnell wasn’t having it.
According to Yahoo, Biden’s plan is to force large employers to either require workers to get a shot or set up a COVID-19 testing regimen at workplaces. Top Republicans such as Senators Ted Cruz and Roger Marshall wanted to strip the funding from federal agencies who could enforce Biden’s authoritarian plan. Sadly, McConnell didn’t agree with and give Biden exactly what he wanted.
“There’s a decent chance the courts will strike them down,” McConnell stated. “I don’t think shutting down the government over this issue is going to get an outcome. It’s only going to create chaos and uncertainty.“
McConnell then helped Biden out by claiming that Biden and the Democrats taking away peoples freedoms wasn’t worth shutting down the government. “We’re not going to shut the government down,” McConnell said. “That makes no sense for anyone. Almost no one on either side thinks it’s a good idea.”
