Melania Trump didn’t hold back.
In a recent video promoting her forthcoming memoir, Melania Trump took a strong stance against the Biden administration, highlighting the rising cost of living and the troubling efforts to suppress her husband, former President Donald Trump.
In the clip released on Sunday, Melania Trump didn’t name President Biden directly, but her critique was unmistakable. She underscored how the country’s situation has deteriorated since the 2020 election, noting its effects on daily life and international stability. “The 2020 election results changed our lives forever,” she stated, with the text on screen echoing her sentiments. “It impacted our quality of life, cost of food, gasoline, safety, and even the geopolitical landscape.”
Under Biden’s leadership, the nation has been grappling with inflation, while global conflicts such as the Russia-Ukraine war and the Israel-Hamas conflict have intensified. According to Melania Trump, the nation is now more divided than ever and expressed grave concerns about the state of free speech in America.
“It has become increasingly apparent that there are significant challenges to free speech as demonstrated by efforts to silence my husband,” she said, referring to ongoing legal battles involving Donald Trump. Trump was recently subjected to a gag order in his Manhattan hush money trial, where he faced 34 felony counts. Despite this, the gag order was extended, and Trump was fined $10,000 for violations, with the threat of jail time looming if he continued to breach the order.
Moreover, Trump’s social media accounts, which were deactivated following the January 6 Capitol riot, have since been reinstated, allowing him to reengage with his supporters online.
Melania Trump is also pushing her new book, titled “Melania,” which she hopes will set the record straight about her life and experiences. “As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts,” she explained. The memoir is available for preorder at $40 and is set to be released on October 8.
Looking ahead, Donald Trump is gearing up for a third presidential bid, with the election set for November 5 against Vice President Kamala Harris.
