Newsom Makes Chilling Threat To Trump

Newsom really thinks he’s going to be president in 2028.

California Governor Gavin Newsom is once again sounding alarms about President Donald Trump, this time making a chilling prediction that the Commander-in-Chief will refuse to leave office at the end of his second term.

At POLITICO’s California Summit in Sacramento, Newsom — widely seen as a potential 2028 Democratic candidate — railed against Trump’s leadership, accusing him of “authoritarian tendencies” and warning Americans, “Wake up. You will lose your country.”

White House Fires Back at Newsom’s “Panic Tour”

The Trump White House wasted no time pushing back. Spokeswoman Abigail Jackson blasted the California governor, telling Fox News Digital: “While Newscum is on a Panicked Media Tour, President Trump is delivering win after win for the American people. When will Newscum learn that President Trump is right about everything?!”

The jab highlights a growing theme: while Trump delivers real results on the economy, border security, and law and order, Democrats like Newsom appear more focused on political theater.

The “Trump 2028” Panic Button

Adding fuel to the fire is the viral “Trump 2028” hat, officially sold through the Trump Organization’s online store. Though the White House has repeatedly clarified that a third term would be unconstitutional, the merchandise has clearly rattled Democrats.

Newsom admitted, “I have two dozen ‘Trump 2028’ hats his folks keep sending me. This is serious, guys. This is serious.”

For conservatives, the hat isn’t a threat — it’s a symbol of Trump’s enduring movement and the panic it causes in the Democratic Party.

Trump’s Bold Moves With the National Guard

Tensions between the two leaders escalated when President Trump made history by federalizing California’s National Guard without Newsom’s approval, deploying troops to Los Angeles during anti-ICE demonstrations.

Since then, Trump has mobilized more than 20,000 National Guard troops to Washington, D.C. to restore order, with discussions of similar deployments to Baltimore and Chicago.

For millions of Americans, these actions show a president willing to use strength to protect communities — something Democrat leaders like Newsom refuse to do.

Newsom’s Attack on Conservatives

In his lengthy remarks, Newsom claimed Trump is “weakness masquerading as strength,” before going further, calling him “the most destructive and damaging individual in my lifetime.”

He then accused Republicans of failing to stand up to the President, declaring, “Every Republican should be ashamed.”

This type of rhetoric is nothing new from the Left: demonize Trump, attack his voters, and label patriotism as “authoritarian.” But it reveals just how terrified Democrats are of the conservative movement’s growing power.

Redistricting: The Real Power Battle

Newsom’s tirade comes as states clash over redistricting. In Texas, Trump-backed maps added five new Republican-leaning districts, strengthening the GOP’s hold in the U.S. House.

Not to be outdone, Newsom rolled out his own redistricting plan, designed to carve out five Democrat-leaning districts in California. “I’m sick and tired of Democrats being on the losing end,” he said, vowing to “fight fire with fire.”

This isn’t just about maps — it’s about control of Congress and the future of America’s direction.

What’s Really at Stake

Newsom ended his rant by saying, “We’re losing this country in real time. This is not an exaggeration. It’s happening.”

Ironically, millions of Americans agree — but not for the reasons Newsom suggests. With open borders, rising crime, and attacks on faith and free speech, conservatives see President Trump as the last line of defense against the radical Left’s agenda.

While Newsom tries to score political points, Trump is delivering results: defending the Constitution, securing communities, and putting America First.
